16 Interface
Connecting the measurement unit to
a PC
Data transfer to and from the
measurement unit takes place through
the docking station. It contains the
USB 1.1 interface connecting the
instrument with a PC.
Set up the computer and additional
instruments as described in the
corresponding manuals. To transfer
data to the measurement unit, the
connection cable must be connected
to a USB interface on the computer.
For the position and assignment of the
socket, please refer to your computer
manual.
The data transfer itself takes place with
the auto-chart program, which is
included with delivery.
The connection point for the USB
cable is located on the back of the
docking station. Insert the cable
included with delivery.
To transfer data, the instrument must
be inserted into the docking station.
Installing the drivers
The installation of the wave-scan dual
takes place in two steps:
1. Installation of the driver
2. Installation of the USB serial port.
It is essentially, that you follow these
steps thoroughly.
