Installation of software
Before you install the software, make sure your computer meets the following
system requirements:
• PC with a Pentium processor
• Operating system Microsoft Windows* 2000 or higher
• 256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended)
• Free hard-disk space required: 100 MB
• CD - ROM drive
• Free USB serial port
• Excel 97 Vers. 8 for pre-prepared worksheets, including
• VBA - Visual Basic for Applications
Running setup:
During time of installation full administrator rights are necessary, as several files
need to be copied to the system directory.
Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. The Windows* dialog program starts
automatically.
If this does not happen:
• Click “Start” and choose “Run” from the Start menu.
• Click on “Browse” and select “setup.exe” from the main directory on the CD.
• Follow the setup instructions on the screen.
Note:
If you experience a limited functionality of the QC-reports, please check the
security settings of the macro-function in Excel ( Menu Tools > Macro >
Security ). Set the security level to medium.
