Operation
Cursor buttons:

and open submenu

How to Calibrate?
Black/white and gloss calibration
•
Select Option – Calibrate - Calibrate
•
Place unit on light trap and press operate
•
Place unit on white standard and press operate
•
Place unit on high gloss standard and press operate
Green check
To audit instrument performance and the condition of the calibration tiles,
a check on the green standard is recommended every 7 days.
•
Select Option – Calibrate – Check Green
•
Place unit on green standard and press operate
After the green check is completed, the instrument tells you whether the
black/white calibration is still valid.
How to measure Differences?
•
Make sure to be in the main menu
•
Place instrument on standard
•
Press std button to take standard reading
•
Place instrument on sample
•
Press operate button to take sample
reading
•
Displays shows absolute sample values
and difference data
==> can be changed in Display -
Difference
Note: Readings are saved automatically when Auto Store is activated in
Option – Setup.
How to save Measurements?
•
To save standards select File – Save –
Standard
•
Input standard name:
change character ==> cursor up/down
move to next digit ==> cursor right
move one digit back ==> cursor left
Confirm ==> operate button

Input tolerances:
follow the same principle
•
To save samples select File – Save – Sample
