Standard Management with BYK-mac link
... to pre-define standard settings (name, n, color system etc.) on PC
1. Definiton of standard settings
• Select Edit Standard and create a new or edit existing standard
• Enter standard name
2. Create new standard
• Enter the desired measurement and display settings:
Color (1) Select color difference, color system,
angles, illuminant/observer
Effect (2) Select effect scales (max. 10)
Statistic (3) Define number of readings or select SMC:
Min. # of readings = n

Max. # of readings = 20 (default)
Special options (4) Select dFlop, dmax, set minimum and
maximum temperature to alert alarm

Save with OK
Standard name is automatically transferred to standard transfer
sheet and ready for transfer to instrument
3. Transfer standard template settings to instrument

Transfer settings to BYK-mac with “Send Standards”
4. Measure standards with BYK-mac
