Exercise ECG settings- Recorder tab
The Recorder tab is only accessible if you have Windows administrator rights. Use the
Recorder tab to adjust settings for the Welch Allyn CardioPerfect recorder.
The Recorder tab contains the following options:
Recorder model
Model
The recorder model that is used. Use the MDX4 option for an
MD recorder at 300, 600 Hz or 1200 Hz. Use the MDXN1 for
a Pro recorder.
Sample Frequency
The sampling frequency of the recorder (300, 600 or 1200
Hz).
AC mains frequency
The frequency that is filtered by the AC mains filter. You can
choose between 50 and 60 Hz.
Recorder connection
Port type
The communication port of the PC to which the recorder is
connected. This can be a CPCOM PCI card, a CPCOM-ISA
card, a CPCOM PCMCIA card or an USB port.
Analog output
If you use a PCI card, or USB with an analog port, select the
function of the analog output here. You can use the output to
control an ergometer or to transmit the ECG signal.
Channel
If you set the function of the analog output to transmitting the
ECG signal, select the channel from which the ECG signal is
taken here.
Recorder options
Display switch off message
This option disables the display of the message “Switch
recorder off” after a test has been completed. If a Welch Allyn
CardioPerfect Pro recorder with USB connection is used this
option should be off/unchecked.
Battery options
Enable low battery warning
This option is only available for the PRO (MDXN1) recorder.
With this option you can enable or disable the displaying of a
low battery warning in the monitor.
Warn at
In this field you can specify the remaining battery time at
which the monitor should display the low battery warning.
