Exercise ECG-settings -Devices tab

Use the Devices tab to select and configure the exercise devices.

Important:

In order to make changes in this section, you must have Windows

Administration privileges. These privileges are set outside of CardioPerfect
application, and are specific to each computer.


If a section is grayed out, you do not have the necessary privileges, and should consult your
IT administrator.

The Devices tab contains the following options:

Exercise device

Type

The type of exercise device that is used during the exercise ECG.

Device

Select your exercise device from the pull-down list, if your exercise
device is not in the list or if you do not want your device to be
controlled by the CardioPerfect workstation, then select “manual”

Connected to

From this list, you can select the COM-port to which the exercise
device is connected. This is only possible when the selected device
has a serial (or RS232) interface.

Default protocol

The default workload protocol that is used for the exercise ECG.

Instant manual load
changes

When this option is enabled the treadmill speed and elevation or the
ergometer workload will be instantly adjustable in the Real-time
monitor.

Blood pressure device

Device

With this option you can specify which blood pressure device is
used for measuring the patient's blood pressure during the exercise
test.

Connected to

From this list you can select the COM-port to which the blood
pressure device is connected.

Default protocol

With this option, you can specify which protocol is used by default
for measuring the blood pressure during the test. Select Manually
controlled if the blood pressure protocol will not be used or if the
protocol is selected at the start of a test.
