Machine Type

The machine model as defined by the Vital Product Data.

Machine Model

The machine model as defined by the Vital Product Data.

Serial Number

The unique box serial number for this switch.

FRU Number

The field replaceable unit number.

Part Number

Manufacturing part number.

Maintenance Level

Hardware changes that are significant to software.

Manufacturer

Manufacturer descriptor field.

Burned in MAC Address

Universally assigned network address.

Software Version

The release.version.revision number of the code cur-

rently running on the switch.

Operating System

The operating system currently running on the switch.

Network Processing Device

The type of the processor microcode.

Additional Packages

The additional packages incorporated into this sys-

tem.

show interface

This command displays a summary of statistics for a specific interface or a count of all
CPU traffic based upon the argument.

Format

show interface {<slot/port> | switchport}

Packets Received Without Error

The total number of packets (including

broadcast packets and multicast packets) received by the

processor.

Packets Received With Error

The number of inbound packets that contained

errors preventing them from being deliverable to a higher-

layer protocol.
