Chapter 8: The Main Viewer

This chapter describes the main view and provides instructions for customizing it and

NORMAL MODE
The Main Viewer appears in Normal mode after Collaborate Desktop starts up the first time. It
contains many of the functions required for successful videoconferencing and provides easy
access to dialing and configuration setup.
The Normal Mode includes:
 Main Viewer, for displaying video, manual dialing, and adjusting the picture and audio.
 Drawer , which contains the Phone Books and dialing directories, configuration settings,
and status information during videoconferences.
 Separate Remote and Local Video views, for viewing the parties during a
videoconference.
