Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network
Wi-Fi allows you to access the Internet by connecting to a wireless network or hotspot.

Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network
1. Tap > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.
2. Tap Menu > Wi-Fi Settings. See below left.
3. Select the desired wireless network and tap Connect.
4. In the Connects drop down menu, select one of the following options (see below middle)
tap Next:
•
The Internet for connecting to the Internet.
•
Work for connecting to a private network.
5. Enter a network key if required. See below right.
6. Tap Finish to complete setup.

Creating a Wireless Connection
1. Tap > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager.
2. Tap Menu > Wi-Fi Settings.
3. Select Add New.
4. Enter the following information and tap Next
•
Network name
•
Network type
•
If you want to connect to another device instead of a network through an access point,
select This is a device-to-device (ad-hoc) connection.
5. Enter the following information and tap Next.
•
Authentication type
•
Data Encryption type
•
Network key
•
Key index
6. Enter the following information.
•
Select Use IEEE 802.1x network access control to use EAP (Extensible Authentication
Protocol).
•
Select EAP type: PEAP or Smart Card or Certificate.
7. Tap Finish to complete setup.
