Certifications in Europe
The CE mark applied to this equipment symbolizes a declaration of conformity by Xerox
with the following applicable Directives of the European Union as of the dates indicated:
• December 12, 2006 Council Directive 2006/95/EC as amended. This is a directive on
the approximation of the laws of the member states related to low voltage equipment.
• December 15, 2004 Council Directive 2004/108/EC as amended. This directive is an
approximation of the laws of the member states related to electromagnetic
compatibility.
• A full declaration of conformity, defining the relevant directives and referenced
standards, can be obtained from your authorized local dealer.
WARNINGS:
• Changes or modifications to this equipment not specifically approved by the Xerox Corporation
may void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
• External radiation from Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) equipment can interfere with the
operation of this Xerox device. If external radiation from ISM equipment interferes with this
device, contact your Xerox representative for assistance.
• This is a class A product. In a domestic environment, this product can cause radio frequency
interference, in which case the user can be required to take adequate measures.
• Shielded cables must be used with this equipment to maintain compliance with Council Directive
2004/108/EC.
