Protect Color
The Protect Color options enable you to use spot colors created
with the Protect Color tool in your job instead of the original color
values in your job. See page 152 for information about working
with the Protect Color tool.
Based on
In the Based on list select the source of the spot color from one of
the following options:
• Original file values to use the original values specified in the job
• Spot Dictionary to use the spot color that was defined for the
CMYK or RBG values of the job in the spot dictionary.
Protect CMYK colors
Select this check box to protect CMYK colors
Protect RGB
Select this check box to protect RBG colors.
Finishing
The Finishing parameters enable you to select various options to
finalize your printed documents.
