Security
User Passwords and Access Levels
The Auto Log on check box is selected by default so that you don’t
have to log on to the IC-304 print controller at start up. If you want
each user to have to log on to the IC-304 print controller, you need
to set the security settings.
The security settings consist of three access levels:
• Administrator (default): Enables the user to access all features
and settings in the IC-304 print controller
• Operator: Enables the user to operate the IC-304 print controller
and configure the General area in the Preferences window
• Guest: Enables the user to view the workspace. A password is
not required for this level.
To set password settings:
1. In the Preferences window, select Security .
2. Clear the Auto Log On check box.
