Chapter 7—Color Workflow
To delete a spot color (from the custom dictionary only):
1.
In the
Spot dictionary
list, select
Custom Dictionary
.
2.
From the list of custom colors, highlight the color you wish to
delete.
3.
Click
Remove
.
4.
Click
Yes
to delete the color.
Protecting RGB and CMYK Colors
This feature enables you to define specific RGB values as RBG
spot colors and enter fixed CMYK values for them. You can protect
specific colors—for example, official logos or company colors—to
help produce color fidelity and color consistency between devices.
To protect RGB and CMYK colors:
1.
From the
Tools
menu, select
Spot Color Editor
.
The Spot Color Editor appears.
2.
Depending on your workflow, select the
Protect
RGB
or
Protect
CMYK
tab. This procedure describes the Protect RGB
workflow, but the procedure is the same for both
Protect RGB
and for
Protect CMYK
.
