Preparation for Use
• You can also make this adjustment from the Both Sides Adjust screen displayed by
pressing [Both Sides] on the MACHINE screen. In this case, press a tray key located
under [Tray Setting] to select the tray to be adjusted.
• The Zoom/Image Shift Adjustment of the Both Sides Adjust can be registered in a paper
profile on the Utility Menu screen. For details, refer to p. 1-29.

Enter numeric values for Zoom and Image Shift.
• [Horizontal] on [Back] can be enabled with selecting [ON] for [Back
Side Magnification Adj.], which is accessed from [02 User Setting] -
[03 Common Setting] on the Utility Menu screen.
• To adjust the Zoom, press [Vertical] or [Horizontal] and then enter a
desired value.
[Vertical] adjusts the magnification in crosswise direction, and [Hori-
zontal] adjusts the magnification in paper feed direction.
Enter a positive value to enlarge the print area, or a negative value to
reduce it.
• To adjust the Image Shift, press [Up/Down] or [Right/Left] and then
enter a desired value.
Enter a positive value to move the print area upward or rightward, or
a negative value to move it downward or leftward.
5.
Press [Close].
