Preparation for Use
• For details of Both Sides Adjust, refer to p. 1-19.
• When the Process Adjustment is desired, contact your service representative.
• For details of Color Density, refer to Section 8 of the User's Guide - Main Body.
Registering Paper Settings
The following two modes to register paper settings are provided.
The first one is to register specific paper settings that you set by pressing [Paper Setting] on
MACHINE screen or the COPY screen. The other one is to register the setting by accessing the
Utility menu.
For either mode, specify a Paper Profile Name to register the setting.
• You can register 500 paper conditions at maximum.
• When [Paper Setting] is pressed on the MACHINE screen or COPY screen and
[Standard] is selected for Paper Size, a paper size is automatically detected and
registered. As for the Paper Setting on the Utility Menu screen, a desired size should
be selected from multiple standard sizes provided.
• You cannot register the Air Assist setting made with pressing [Paper Setting] on the
MACHINE screen or COPY screen. Also keep in mind that the Paper Setting on the
Utility Menu screen does not provide the Air Assist setting.
• You cannot register the Chart Adjustment of Both Sides Adjust made with pressing
[Paper Setting] on the MACHINE screen or COPY screen. Also keep in mind that the
Paper Setting on the Utility Menu screen does not provide the Chart Adjustment of
Both Sides Adjust.
• The Paper Setting data that has been registered from the Paper Setting on the Utility
Menu screen can be exported to a USB flash drive and imported to another
machine of the same model.
