Adjust the position of the rear
guide.

Align the rear guide to the
paper.
• To slide the rear guide to the
right, hold the top as illustrated,
and slide the rear guide while
pressing it down slightly.
• On the other hand, hold and
slightly press down the bottom of
the rear guide to slide the rear
guide to the left.
• The rear guide cannot be slid
smoothly to the right side without
being pressed down. Also, hold-
ing the rear guide at the top may
fail to slide it to the left side.
• Be careful not to move the rear
guide by force, otherwise it may
be damaged.

• Press the lock release lever of the
rear guide to move it to the edge
of the paper.
• Go to Step 7.
