17. DRYING PROCESS – GENERAL INFORMATION
Working mode <
Drying> is dedicated to determining moisture content in
a substance by its drying. On process start controlled by a user, the moisture
analyzer checks loss of mass of a substance placed in the drying chamber. The
substance sample is heated by a moisture analyzer, and on basis of mass
decrement, the software calculates moisture content in a sample, and visualizes
measurement result on the display. The drying result is continuously updated
during drying process course, and the process is completed automatically on
meeting finish mode requirements set by a user.
17.1. SAMPLE PREPARATION FOR DRYING
This section of the MA 3Y user manual contains data on setting optimum test
results during drying processes. There are hints for selection of appropriate
drying parameters for various materials and substances.
