19.8. Minimal sample weight
Minimal sample weight database contains data for declared method and for a
given balance minimal sample weights.
Caution:
Only RADWAG employees are authorized either to enter new values of minimal
sample weights or to modify the already introduced ones.
Procedure
•
Enter < Database> submenu, click < Minimal sample weights>
option;
•
press <
Add> button if a new minimal sample weight is to be included
into the database;
•
for already included minimal sample weight click its name to enter data
that may be edited.
List of data edited for minimal sample weights:
1. Name – the name of a method used for minimal sample weight
determination for a given balance.
2. Code – method code.
3. Description – method description.
4. Subsequent control – date of expiry of a minimal sample weight, a
pictogram presenting a clock, placed next to the status, informs about
the expiry date two weeks in advance. It informs about expiring period
of validity. Contact with RADWAG employee is required in order to
perform necessary modification of settings.
5. Thresholds – option allowing for entering both, data of mass of
minimal sample weight and packaging mass (tare) thresholds for
which given value is valid.
Tare – maximal tare value for which minimal sample weigh is valid.
Three values may be entred: 0.000g, any mass value out of the
balance range and Max sample mass (see examples below).
Minimal mass – minimal mass value determined with application of
proper methods for a given balance operating in a specified place.
Example no. 1 for AS 220.3Y with d=0.0001 g:
In case of this balance the following values of minimal sample weights have been
determined for the corresponding tare values.
No. Tare value
