Terminal connected to mains, battery charged, no connection of the terminal with the
weighing module.
Settings
For ensuring long enough operation while powering the device by means of
battery, the correct parameters of group OTHER must be set,
titled Other Parameters.
5. STARTUP
•
On plugging the power cord to moisture analyzer’s power plug, switch on
the moisture analyzer using the main switch located next to the power
plug at the back of instrument’s housing.
•
On switching on, instrument’s diode ON/LOAD
located
on terminal’s housing is lit up.
•
Press powering key
located on the upper right section of
terminal’s overlay. Within a few seconds, the RADWAG OS starts loading,
which is signaled by flickering red diode ON/LOAD.
•
On completing the startup procedure, the instrument’s displays main
window of the software.
•
The moisture analyzer starts up with no user logged in. In order to start
operation, a user has to log in. (logging procedure is described further in
this user manual).
CAUTION: Remember to start the moisture analyzer up with no load on the drying
pan.
5.1. Temperature stabilization period of time
One must wait until the thermal stability of the balance has been reached
before carrying out a weighing process.
In case of balances that were stored in low temperature (wintertime) it takes
about 4 hours to acclimatize and heat before being plugged to mains. The
balances may not be plugged to mains earlier than it has been specified by a
manufacturer.
During the stabilization process the display readouts may vary. Correct
operation of the balance is possible within a temperature range specified in
technical parameters (see point 1 of this manual).
It is recommended to find such a place for balance in operation where the
ambient temperature changes are insignificant.
