The display prompts the percent of flow as the default setting. Enter the new value using [UP]
and [DOWN]. Press [ENTER] to accept this value and the cursor moves to the next position.
Continue to use the arrow keys and press [ENTER] to accept your selections.

3. Pressing [ENTER] after configuring any of the previous steps (a-d) accepts your selection and will
additionally open an {ERROR MESSAGE / …..} screen.

Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select between ENABLED or DISABLED. Press [ENTER] to accept this
value. At this time the display is returned to the {–MENU– / ANALOG SIG FAIL} screen.
7.2.4 Leak Detection Failure Set Up
This sub-menu allows you to configure the DLC – XP to interact with a PULSAlarm Leak Detection
Diaphragm. You can modify the way the DLC – XP responds to the diaphragm rupture. The
following responses are available:
− Shut the motor off
− Trigger an alarm relay
− Shut the motor off and trigger an alarm relay.
Refer to Section 5 – Installation: Low Voltage Inputs for wiring information.
1. Press [MENU] to enter the {-MENU-} sub-system. Press [UP] three times until the {-MENU- /
LEAK DETECTION} is displayed. Press [ENTER] to continue to program the Leak Detection
options.

2. The Leak Detection Input can be configured as {INACTIVE}, if the pump is not supplied with a
PULSAlarm Leak Detection Diaphragm. Press [ENTER] to return to the screen {MENU / LEAK
DETECTION}.

a) Press [UP] to scroll to the next sub-menu. The Leak Detection Input relay can be configured as
{NORMALLY OPEN}.

Press [ENTER] to accept the desired configuration.
3. The display prompts for you to configure the motor state (ON/OFF) should a diaphragm rupture
occurs (leak is detected).
