Changing Your Phone Back to Voice Calling

From the main menu press
for
Setup/Tool
.
2.
Press
for
Data/Fax In
.
3.
Use the scroll keys to select “
Voice Call Only
”.
4.
Press
to
Save
the setting. The screen displays “No
incoming data/fax calls can be received”. Your phone
then returns to Standby mode.
Ending a call
Some of the normal ways to end a call, like closing the
phone will end a Sprint PCS Wireless Web call. Always close
the connection through the application on your computer.
Your phone will return to Standby mode. Disconnecting the
data cable or turning off your phone will also end a wireless
web call, but may disrupt your computer.
Setting the TALK Key One-Touch Access
The
key is set at the factory to access your outgoing
call log when pressed from Standby mode. This “one-touch
access” can instead be set for the Internal Phone Book if
you prefer. It’s easy to set.

Press

Talk Key

Use the scroll keys to select “
PhoneBook
” or “
Calls
”.
4.
Press
to
Save
the setting or
to return to the
previous screen.
Note:
The phone always
powers up in Standby
mode, even if it was
powered down in
Data/Fax mode. The
phone also returns to
Standby mode if the data
cable is disconnected.
