4. Press the scroll keys to scan menu options: Highest ,
High , Med , Low and Lowest .
5. When the desired option displays, press to Save the
setting.
Setting the language of your phone
Your Sprint PCS Phone can display all menus and messages
in either Spanish or English; all verbal prompts will also be
spoken by the phone in the selected language. It’s quick,
easy and very convenient for bilingual families or friends.
Here’s how to do it:
1. From the main menu press for Setup / Tool .
2. Press for Language .
3. Press the scroll keys to select English or Spanish .
4. When the desired option displays, press to Save the
setting. The change is immediate and affects all
menus, screens and verbal prompts.
Ringer Options
Your Sprint PCS Phone provides a variety of ringer options
in the Sounds menu. These options allow you to customize
your ringer type and ringer volume settings so that you can
easily recognize when a certain type of call is coming in.
Ringer Type Setting for Voice Calls
This option enables you to set a unique ringer type for
incoming voice calls. Also, incoming voice calls that have
Caller ID can be distinguished from those that do not by
selecting different ringer types. In addition, you can set
distinctive ring types for individual names stored in your
Internal Phone Book. For more information on this see
“Adding a Name Ringer” on page 76. To set the ringer type
for voice calls:
1. From the main menu press for Setup / Tool .
2. Press for Sounds .
3. Press for Ringer Type .
Tip:
You can use the volume
control keys on the side
of the phone to adjust
the ringer volume in
Standby mode or the
other caller’s voice
volume during a call.
Note:
When the phone is in
Vibrate Mode and
attached to an
accessory (Desktop
Charger, Hands-Free
Car Kit, etc.), it uses the
Standard ringer type to
alert you of incoming
calls, alarms or
messages.
