4. Press for Voice Calls .
5. Press to set the ringer type for calls that have
Caller ID info or for calls without Caller ID info.
6. Press the scroll keys to scan nine ringer types and four
melody tones. Each tone sounds as you scroll the
options.
7. When the desired ringer type sounds, press to Save
the setting.
Ringer Volume Setting for
Voice, Data, and Fax Calls
There are two ways to set the ringer volume for voice and
data/fax calls:

From Standby mode, press the volume keys until the
desired volume is reached. The options are
High & Vib,
High , Med , Low , Vibrate , 1-Beep or Off .

From the main menu:
1. Press for Setup / Tool .
2. Press for Sounds .
3. Press for Ringer Volume .
4. Press for Calls .
5. Press the scroll keys to select High & Vib, High , Med ,
Low , Vibrate , 1-Beep or Off .
6. When the desired ringer volume setting displays, press
to Save the setting.
When ringer volume is set to “ Off ”, all sounds are muted
including message notification tones. This is helpful in
quiet environments like a business meeting.
Ringer Type Setting for Message Notifications
This option enables you to set a unique ringer type for
incoming message calls. This means you can have distinct
ringer types for Sprint PCS Voicemail notifications, numeric
pages and Sprint PCS Wireless Web Alerts. To set the ringer
type for voice calls:
1. From the main menu press for Setup / Tool .
