Making and Answering Calls
Making Calls
Your Sprint PCS Phone
™
offers many different ways to
make calls, including Voice dialing (page xx), Speed
Dialing (page xx) and using Call History (page xx).
To make a call using your keypad:
1.
Make sure your phone is on.
2.
Enter a phone number. If you make a mistake while
dialing, press
to erase one digit at a time. Or, press
and hold
to erase the entire number.
3.
Press
. To make a call when you are roaming and
Call Guard is enabled, your phone prompts you to press
[1] to make the call. (See “Call Guard” on page xx.)
4.
When you’re finished, press
.
Answering Calls
1.
Make sure your phone is on. If your phone is off,
incoming calls go to voicemail.
2.
When your phone rings, simply open the flip or press
. To answer incoming calls when you are
roaming and Call Guard is enabled, press
.

3.
To disconnect the call, press
.
Missed Call Notification
When an incoming call is not answered, the Missed Call
Log is displayed on your screen.
To display the Missed Call entry:

From the Main Menu press
. Highlight
the missed call entry and press
to see all the
information available, or press
to be immediately
connected.
Tip:
To redial your last
outgoing phone number,
press
twice.
Tip:
When making calls off
the Sprint PCS Network,
always dial using
11 digits (1 + area code +
phone number).
Note:
You can also answer a
call by pressing any key
if this option is turned
on. See Any Key

Note:
You cannot dial phone
numbers identified as
No ID, Restricted, Data
or Fax calls.
