If you logged in to the target NAS package using SSH and set up as explained in step 1 and
step 2, confirm the setup by logging out of the NAS package and then logging back in:
exit
ssh {-1|-2} nasroot@fixed-IP-address-of-the-NAS-package
Enter the command shown in the following example to check the result of setting up the environment
variable:
$ sudo horc_printenv

Create file systems in XP Continuous Access Journal P-VOLs
Create a file system in an XP Continuous Access Journal P-VOL using the Create New File System
window in File System Management in NAS Blade Manager or using the
enas_fscreate
command. Even if you create and split the XP Continuous Access Journal volume pair without
creating a file system in the XP Continuous Access Journal P-VOL, you cannot access the XP
Continuous Access Journal S-VOL in the secondary site.
