Status: Status of volume pairs.
The volume is not currently assigned to a pair. When the initial copy is
started by a paircreate operation, the volume status changes to COPY.
SMPL
An initial copy operation is in progress. Data in the primary data volume
is not synchronized with data in the secondary data volume. When the
initial copy is complete, the status changes to PAIR.
COPY
The volume is paired with another volume. The two volumes are fully
synchronized. All updates from the host to the primary data volume are
duplicated at the secondary data volume.
PAIR
You split the pair (pairsplit-r) or deleted the pair from the secondary array
(pairsplit-S). The primary and secondary data volumes are not
synchronized.
PSUS
The pair was split by the primary or secondary array due to an error or
failure. The primary and secondary data volumes are not synchronized.
PSUE
The primary and secondary data volumes are not synchronized. This pair
is in transition from the PAIR or COPY status to the PSUS/PSUE status.
Suspending
The primary and secondary data volumes are not synchronized. This pair
is in transition from the PAIR, COPY, or PSUS/PSUE status to the SMPL
status.
Deleting
An XP Continuous Access Journal pair for the delta resync operation is
created.
HOLD
An error occurred with the XP Continuous Access Journal pair for the delta
resync operation.
