Error: verify if another instance
if the same application is
already running. If the message is received on
a computer running Windows
9x, the program is already
running.
If the message is received on
a computer running Windows
NT 4.0 or 5.0, the program is
already running or the HP
Digital Sender Service is
running. (The service cannot
be running at the same time
as the program.)
No action is needed. You can
begin sending to the computer.
To work with the HP Digital
Sender Link settings, open the
Control Panel applet from the
HP Digital Sender Link icon or
the Windows Control Panel.
Check if the HP Digital Sender
Service is running or close it
by double-clicking the
Services icon in Windows
Control Panel. Select HP
Digital Sender Service (or
HP Network Scanner
Service) and click Stop. Then,
try re-opening the program. If
you still receive the message,
the program is already
running, and no other action is
needed.
Error writing data into the
receive inbox. The document you sent to a
computer could not be stored
in the default inbox because
you do not have the rights to
write to that location. This can
happen after installation if
someone changed the rights
on the computer where your
default inbox is located.
The document you send to a
computer could not be stored
in the default inbox because
the hard drive on the computer
is full.
On the computer where your
default inbox is located, check
and change the rights back to
their previous settings. Or,
choose a new default inbox
location.
If the computer’s hard drive is
full, free up space and resend
the document.
HP Digital Sender Link
parameters not set. Run setup
utility? The HP Digital Sender Link is
either not installed or is not
configured correctly. Click Yes to configure its
parameters correctly.
Not enough rights for the
specified directory. The HP Digital Sender Link
cannot accept or create the
path specified in the Path to
Receive Inbox field because
you do not have enough rights
to read and write to the
requested location. Try retyping the path or
choose another one. Or,
change the rights for the
requested location so you can
use it.
