SETUPRUN Error Messages
Cause. Either you did not upload the FILEMGR program from the delivery medium
(CD-ROM or DVD) to the NonStop system, it was misnamed during the upload, or it
was not placed into the same subvolume as SETUPRUN.
Recovery. Move FILEMGR from the delivery medium (CD-ROM or DVD) to the
NonStop system (See Step 2 of
Task 2: Move the Files From the CD-ROM or DVD to
the NonStop System on page 2-2.) Then rerun SETUPRUN.
Cause. Either you did not upload any packed DSV files from the delivery medium (CD-
ROM or DVD) to the NonStop system, files were misnamed during the upload, or they
were not placed into the same subvolume as SETUPRUN.
Recovery. Move the packed DSV files from the delivery medium (CD-ROM or DVD) to
the NonStop system (See Step 2 of
Task 2: Move the Files From the CD-ROM or DVD
to the NonStop System on page 2-2.) Then rerun SETUPRUN.
Cause. File security problems occurred. Either the DSVLOCS file is not owned by the
current user, the file is not secured properly, or another user or process has the file
open.
error code is a NonStop file-system error. For comprehensive information
about the error, type error error code at a TACL prompt.
Recovery. Manually purge the DSVLOCS file and restart SETUPRUN.
Cause. SETUPRUN encountered the indicated file code error while attempting to
open the DSVLOCS file.
Recovery. Correct the error and then manually rename the DSVs if necessary. Do not
try to rerun SETUPRUN to rename the DSVs that were successfully placed. If you
want any DSV renamed, you must use FUP to do so manually.
Required file not found in current subvolume: FILEMGR
There are no package files (*000) in the current subvolume.
There must be at least one package file for SETUPRUN to use.
Unable to purge log file DSVLOCS, error error code.
Purge DSVLOCS and restart SETUPRUN.
Unable to read log file that contains list of placed DSVs.
