Troubleshooting Tips

Specify a different NonStop volume to be the ISV.

Add a purge parameter to the end of each FUP DUP command in the DSV2ISV
file:
, purge
If you get an Error 11 when performing an OBEY command on the DSV2ISV file:

Check that you correctly edited all the needed FUP DUP commands in the OBEY
file.

Check that all the DSVs have been moved to the NonStop system.
If you encounter TACL errors when comment lines are encountered while
running DSV2ISV:

Delete the comment lines in DSV2ISV before performing an OBEY command on
the file.

If you do not delete the comment lines, prior to performing an OBEY command on
the DSV2ISV file, set TACL’s #INFORMAT (unless you have already done so):
#SET #INFORMAT TACL
These TACL errors do not terminate execution of the DSV2ISV file.
If you encounter -300 fatal errors that do not match the description in this Guide
when running SETUPRUN:
You are running a pre-T0082D31 version of IPSETUP to use a D31 package file, which
it cannot successfully recognize.
Check that you copy the most recent version of NSKUNPK from the IP CD-ROM or
DVD and run it.
