b. Select the Back Up Existing Host Files to: check box if you want the existing

files in the work subvolume to be backed up to another subvolume.

If you will back up existing files, set the backup subvolume.

To specify a different location, click Browse... . The Subvolume Browser dialog
box appears. Choose your volume and subvolume, and then click OK. IPSetup
returns you to the Host Target Settings dialog box.

d. Select the Extract files from ustar archives to OSS file system check box if

you have ustar files and want them extracted to the HP NonStop Open System
Services (OSS) file system after they are placed on the host.

e. Click Next >. The Host File Placement dialog box appears.

7. Review or update the file placement.

The Host File Placement dialog box displays the selected IP, RVU, or SPR in a
tree view and indicates where on the host that each product will be placed. The
tree view of the RVU or an SPR contains three levels but the tree view of the IPs
has four levels.

Note. If you are placing NonStop RISC software but see identifiers for NonStop CISC
software components, this is not an error. It is common for RISC software to use CISC
components.
