Error Messages
Cause. IPSetup could not alter the file code of NSKUNPK to make it executable on
the host.
Recovery. Check the security settings for the file.
Cause. IPSetup was unable to create a backup copy of the existing file in the selected
backup subvolume.
Recovery. Check the security settings for the backup subvolume.
Cause. IPSetup could not establish a TELNET connection to the specified host on the
TELNET port. Either TCP/IP is not working, or TELSERV is not responding on the
host.
Recovery. From a command window, enter
PING host-name
to make sure your PC
can find and communicate with the specified host. If the request succeeds, the
TELSERV process on the remote host might be busy or unavailable.
Cause. The memory resources on your PC are getting too low for IPSetup to run
properly.
Recovery. Exit IPSetup, close all other Windows applications, and run IPSetup again.
Cause. IPSetup could not duplicate a file from a DSV to an ISV.
Recovery. Check the security of the ISV.
Cause. IPSetup cannot get the module handle of the specified DDL. IPSetup could
not send a Guardian command to the host to select the Guardian file system.
Recovery. If the Guardian user ID has an OSS initial-directory setting, IPSetup cannot
send product files to the Guardian file system on the host.
Unable to alter file code on NSKUNPK: error.
Unable to backup existing file: error
Unable to connect to host: host-name
Unable to display the trace window.
Unable to duplicate DSV file: error
Unable to get module handle of module-name (specified DDL,
continuing).
