For RVU and SPR
rvu-id
is the RVU ID in Ann.nn.nn format. The default value for the RVU ID is
blank which indicates the SPR bundle. In case of RVU, the rvu-id is mandatory.
Examples for using SETUPRUN for RVU or SPR files:
SETUPRUN for RVU files
If you have RVU pak files (1729 code) with H605001, H6050011, H6050012
and so on, use SETUPRUN with UNPAK option as:
SETUPRUN unpak,vol $vol.subvol, rlse H06.05.00
If you have RVU tape files (999 code) with H6050001, H6050002, H6050003
and so on at location
$vol.subvol
, use SETUPRUN with TAPESIM option
as:
SETUPRUN tapesim, vol $vol.subvol, rlse H06.05.00
SETUPRUN for SPR files
If you have SPR pak files (1729 code) with SPRBK11, SPRBK111, SPRBK112
and so on, use SETUPRUN with UNPAK option as:
SETUPRUN unpak, vol $vol.subvol
If you have SPR tape files (999 code) with SPRBK011, SPRBK012,
SPRBK013 and so on at location
$vol.subvol
, use SETUPRUN with
TAPESIM option as:
SETUPRUN tapesim, vol $vol.subvol
SETUPRUN processing with UNPAK option:
Runs UNPAK on the RVU or SPR PAK files (1729 code) to extract the 999
code RVU or SPR files to the specified
$vol.subvol
location. These
messages are printed during successful execution:

Extracting Pakfiles ...
Extracting Tapefiles from PAK files in
$vol.subvol

TAPE files successfully UNPAKed.
