Error Messages
Cause. The user supplied an incorrect user name or password during the initial logon.
Recovery. Check that a valid user name and password are provided in the Host
Information dialog box.
Cause. Windows was unable to determine the directory IPSetup is running in.
Recovery. The ipsetup.exe file has been renamed before or after starting the
application.
Cause. IPSetup could not recognize the specified command line option supplied on
startup.
Recovery. Correct the command line option and try again.
Cause. IPSetup is not supported on this version of Windows.
Recovery. Run IPSetup on a PC running Windows NT 3.51 service pack 5 or later, or
Windows 95 or later.
Cause. IPSetup is unfamiliar with this Windows platform.
Recovery. Run IPSetup on a PC running Windows NT 3.51 service pack 5 or later, or
Windows 95 or later.
Cause. IPSetup could not purge an existing file.
Recovery. Check the security settings for the file.
Cause. Either Windows is not configured for TCP/IP, there is a problem with TCP/IP
on the network, or TCP/IP has been disabled or stopped by the user.
Recovery. In a command window, enter
IPCONFIG
to see if TCP/IP is configured and
running. If no information is returned, check the Network settings in the Control Panel.
Then reboot the system or reset the network card and rerun IPSetup.
Unable to logon to host: host-name
Unable to retrieve application directory.
Unknown command line parameter ‘ param’.
Unsupported operating system version.
Unsupported operating system platform detected: platform-id.
Unable to purge existing file: error
Windows sockets initialization failed.
