Error Messages
Cause. Either the UNPAK utility or the PAKed files are missing in the work subvolume,
or any other error encountered by UNPAK.
Recovery. Check the subvolume for appropriate PAKed files and UNPAK utility. Check
the trace log for additional error messages from UNPAK.
Cause. TAPESIM process, $ZRVU, is already running on the server.
Recovery. Follow the instructions given in the pop-up window to start TAPESIM
manually.
Cause. TAPESIM utility was not transferred properly or was removed during the
installation.
Recovery. Reinstall the product or manually transfer and run SETUPRUN as
mentioned in Section 2: Manual Software Placement Using FTP and SETUPRUN.
Cause. Appropriate tape files are missing or any other error encountered by UNPAK.
Recovery. Check that the tape files are present in the target subvolume and that they
have names following the naming conventions mentioned in section 2: Manual
Software Placement Using FTP and SETUPRUN. Check the trace log for further
information on the error encountered.
Cause. Application could not find one of the installation files.
Recovery. Contact the vendor.
Error during UNPAK.
IPSetup cannot start a new TAPESIM server process, $ZRVU, as
it is already running on the system. Therefore, the host
installation will remain incomplete. Please start $ZRVU
manually at a later time to mount and receive the RVU/SPR
files into DSM/SCM. The steps to do this are described in the
IPSetup Users Guide.
TAPESIM not available in the work subvolume.
TAPESIM process could not be started.
Error: Unable to read the product MAPFILE.
