Calibration and Maintenance
WARNING
The information in this section is intended only for qualified
personnel. The user must at all times be adequately protected from
electric shock.
General
The 1000 Series calibrators’ maintenance requirements are listed below. Please
note that the calibrator does not require any regular internal servicing or adjustment.
1) Electrical Safety Checks on Line power lead and case
2) Cleaning of the Fan
3) Cleaning the external case
4) Calibration and operation verifications
Electrical Safety Tests
These can be carried out as frequently as required. Earth bond and insulation can
be tested as a class 1 appliance. Flash testing is not recommended due to the
possibility of damage to internal components.
