Connecting the monitor cable
After you plug in the monitor power cord, connect the monitor cable to the
computer’s monitor port.
To connect the monitor cable, follow these steps:
1 Attach the monitor cable to the monitor so that it appears as shown in the illustration.
On some monitors, the cable is already attached.
2 Attach the monitor cable to the monitor port on the back of the computer so that it
appears as shown in the illustration.
If your monitor has a microphone or speakers, you may need to connect
additional cables. See the documentation that came with the monitor.
