Channel
description
Description of the input or output, up to 21 characters. The channel
description is displayed in the individual visualization modes, together with the
channel name.
Alarm
configuration
Opens the submenu for the configuration of the alarm monitoring.
14.2 Alarm Configuration
Overview
Status
Status activates alarm monitoring.
Alarm type
The alarm type determines whether the activating/inactivating of an input or
output is to be evaluated as a genuine alarm or only as an event.
Alarm active on
Determines whether the alarm is present with active or inactive input/output.
On
Alarm monitoring is active.
Event
The alarm text is entered in the event list only.
Alarm
The alarm text is entered in the alarm list and the event
list. In addition, the alarm text appears in the “status &
title bar”, and the alarm bell is shown in red.
