View Failed Self-
Diagnostic Details
To view details regarding which of the self-diagnostics tests
passed or failed:
1. Select the Diagnostics tab and view the message log. At least one
error from a failed self-diagnostics test appears with a yellow
background.
2. Double click the yellow row for which you want to see a more
detailed description. An Errors dialog box appears showing a list
of passed and failed self-diagnostic tests.
3. Click OK to close the dialog box. A dialog box appears
indicating which of the self-diagnostic tests passed or failed.
Click OK to close this dialog box.
See the Troubleshooting chapter in this manual if the self-diagnostic
routine reports a failure.
XYP Commands
XYP commands let you eject or retract the plate holder on the XYP
instrument, command the Sample Probe up or down, and run self
diagnostics.
Calibration and
Verification
You can run calibration and verification commands from the
Maintenance tab on the main screen.
Set Well Locations
for Calibration and
Controls
To set the locations on the microtiter plate for calibration and
control solutions:
1. Click the drop down arrow at the end of the entry cell. A list of
well locations appears below the arrow.
2. Click the well location on the microtiter plate image.
Enter System
Calibration
Targets
To enter new and changed system calibration targets:
Refer to the Certificates of Quality included with the xMAP
calibrators to find the reagent.
