3.2.10 Measure Data Option

The Measure Data Option causes the “

W

ATER

LOG” to take a measurement as shown in Figure

3-20. The “

W

ATER

LOG” makes the measurement and stores the results in the

FLASHEEPROM. The software in the computer will then query the “

W

ATER

LOG” for the

measurement, which is displayed in the top right window of the screen.

3.2.11 Zero Sensor Option

The “

W

ATER

LOG” software allows you to force the sensor to use a specific point as its zero

offset point. For example, placing the sensor in 5 feet of water and pressing option number 11
will cause the sensor to record levels with a -5.0 foot offset. Figure 3-21 shows the option
selected. Note: This option requires a “Y” or “N” conformation before it proceeds.
