3.2.3.1 Linear Logging Mode Option

The Linear Logging Mode shown in Figure 3-5 is configured to have a constant time between
each measurement. This allows you to change the value of the logging rate by using the up and
down arrow cursor keys on the keyboard. When the correct logging rate is displayed, push the
key and the “

W

ATER

LOG” will be programmed for the desired interval.

3.2.3.2 Delta Logging Mode Option

The Delta Logging Mode shown in Figure 3-6 provides the means to log data only if it is
changing more than a set limit.

Logging Rate:

Set between 1 second to 24 hours. This is just like in the Linear Mode.

Delta Limit:

The Delta Limit sets the point that determines if the scanned data is to be logged or not.
Each time the sensor takes a reading, the “

W

ATER

LOG's” internal software computes the

absolute difference between the last logged reading and present reading. If the difference
between the new value and the last logged value is less than the Delta Limit, the sensor
will not log the new data. If the difference between the present reading and the last
logged data is greater than the delta limit, the new data will be logged.
