BluStar Audit Viewer

This subsection displays all logged IPC messages of the type(s) enabled in Platform :: Audit Configuration.

Platform Audit Configuration

This subsection allows you to specify what types of OS events you want logged to the System Log, if any. From the main
page of Platform :: Auditing :: Platform Audit Configuration, you are able to view the auditing rules and profiles associ-
ated with the rules.

From the WebUI, you are able to filter the rules on Section and Profile Filter. Note than when you filter the rules on a sec-
tion AND profile filter the operation is seen as an AND operation; thus the rule must belong to the selected section and the
selected profile filter in order to appear in the result set. For example, filtering on the Process section displays a few rules. If
you then filter on the CAPP profile as well, no rules are displayed because none of the Process rules are required for the
profile.

Note:

The audit log increases in size rapidly. This process accelerates with the number of WebUI users. It should therefore not
be enabled unnecessarily.
