ERROR CONDITION
HEAD ELEMENT BAD
Experiencing print quality
problems.
Printhead element is bad
or going bad.
To correct the situation, call a
service technician to replace
the printhead.
To override this error
message, place ^JT0 and
~JO in your ZPL II format.
Printhead Resistor value
not set correctly.
Set the head resistor value to
match the head resistance
value printed on the printhead.
See page 43.
WARNING
CUTTER JAMMED
Cutter blade in media path.
Turn the power off. Remove
the media, reload the media,
and turn the power on. If the
error condition still exists, call
a service technician.
OUT OF MEMORY
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Printer stops and PAUSE light
is on.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX can
be any of the following
messages:
Creating bitmap
Storing bitmap
Building format
Storing format
Storing graphic
Storing font
Not enough memory to
perform the function
shown on the second line
of the error message
(XXXXXXXXXXXXXX).
You may do any of the
following (A, B, or C):
A. (For errors related to storing
things)
With PAUSE on, use the ~HM
ZPL II command to display the
amount of free memory.
Then...
Redesign graphic/format to fit
available memory or remove
items from memory to create
more space.
OR
Press the Pause key to skip the
step in the process and
continue on to the next step.
B. In Pause Mode, press
Cancel. The printer skips the
current label formatting
process and goes on to the
next label.
C. Turn the printer power off
to clear printer memory and
start over.
