Exit Menu
You can make the following selections on the Exit Menu. Select an option using
the up or down arrow keys, then press Enter to execute the option. Pressing Esc
does not exit this menu. You must select one of the items from the menu or
menu bar to exit.

Choices
Description
Exit Saving Changes
Exits after writing all modified Setup item values to CMOS.
Exit Discarding Changes
Exits leaving CMOS unmodified.
Load Setup Defaults
Loads default values for all Setup items.
Load Custom Defaults
Loads settings from custom defaults.
Save Custom Defaults
Saves present Setup values to custom defaults.

CAUTION
Verify that custom defaults are saved
before exiting. Failure to do so can
result in system malfunction.
Discard Changes
Reads the previous value of all Setup items from CMOS.
Save Changes
Writes all Setup item values to CMOS.
Using the Symbios SCSI Utility
The Symbios SCSI Utility detects the SCSI host adapter located on the system
board. Use the utility to:
T
change adapter and SCSI device default values
T
check and/or change SCSI device settings that may conflict with those of
other devices in the server
T
perform low-level formatting or verify operations on SCSI disk drives.
Running the Symbios SCSI Utility
1.
Power-on the system. The system boots up.
2.
When this message appears on the video monitor
Press Ctrl-C to start the Symbios SCSI Utility
Press
Ctrl+C
to run the utility.
3.
The utility starts and the Main Menu displays.
