Testing line cards
Use this procedure to test a line card.
1 Log into the system:
LOGI (password)
2 Perform a network memory test, continuity test, and signaling test on a
specific loop and shelf:
LD 30
SHLF l sloop and shelf numbers
If the system response is other than OK, see the Software Input/Output:
Administration (553-3001-311) to analyze the messages.
3 For a line card on a superloop, perform a signaling test on a specific card
or unit:
UNTT l s c loop, shelf, and card numbers
For the NT8D02 Digital Line card, enter:
UNTT l s c u
loop, shelf, card, and unit numbers
If the system response is other than OK, see the Software Input/Output:
Administration (553-3001-311) to analyze the messages.
4 End the session in LD 30:
