Ventilation
The air around the UPS must be clean and free of dust, corrosive chemicals, and other
contaminants. The Powerware 9170 UPS uses internal fans to circulate the air for cooling.
The air must be free to circulate around the UPS and battery cabinet(s). Do not operate the
UPS in a sealed room or container.
