Danger of accidents ಘReduced braking due to wet or dirty brakes.
ದ Clean or dry dirty or wet brakes by riding and braking gently.
ದ After cleaning, ride the vehicle a short distance until the engine warms up, and then apply the brakes.

The heat produced causes water at inaccessible positions in the engine and the brakes to evaporate.
ದ Push back the protection covers on the handlebar instruments to allow water to evaporate.
ದ After the motorcycle has cooled off, oil or grease all moving parts and bearings.

ದ Treat bare metal parts (except for brake discs and exhaust system) with anti-corrosion materials.
