Remove screws

. Remove oil filter cover

with O-ring.

Pull the oil filter insert

out of the oil filter casing.
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
ದ
Completely drain the engine oil.
ದ
Thoroughly clean parts and sealing area.
Mounting oil filter

Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.

Insert oil filter

Oil the O-rings of the oil filter cover. Refit the oil filter cover

Mount and tighten screws.

Danger of scalding
ಘEngine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motocycle is driven.

Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. If you scald yourself, hold the affected area under cold water immediately.
