9.4.1 PCI-Based RS/6000 Systems Network Installation Limitations
The following limitations apply when using NIM to install PCI-based RS/6000
systems as NIM Clients:
When using a PCI-based RS/6000 machine as a Client, the network installation
procedure can only be started from the Client, not from the NIM Master.
The /usr filesystem cannot be used as a SPOT for this type of network
installation unless all required software packages have been installed on the
NIM Master.
Currently, only token-ring and Ethernet can be used for the NIM installation.
NIM does not support the X.25 adapter.
