3. Select an Interrupt Level that is not currently in use.
4. If any ISA adapter is installed, check for available Bus I/O Address values by
entering the following command:
lsresource -l bus -a | grep bus_io
This command generates a list of adapters using bus I/O that looks similar to

7. Select a Bus Memory that is not currently in use.
The valid Bus Memory values for use with the X.25 Interface Co-Processor ISA
Adapter start at 0x0e0000 and increment by 0x002000. For example, they are
0x0e2000, 0x0e4000, 0x0e6000, and so on. The previous example shows
ampx
is using the first Bus Memory range of 0X0e000, and
apm
is using the
second range of 0x0e2000.
8. Install the X.25 Interface Co-Processor ISA Adapter device driver and
diagnostic by choosing:
smit isa
Install ISA Adapter Software
to install the fileset
device.isa.c1x.
9. After installing the software, you might enter:
smit isa
Add an ISA Adapter
10. Select articmpx isa X.25 Coprocessor/1 Adapter from the SMIT pop-up
menu.
11. Select bus1 Available ISA Bus from the following SMIT pop-up menu.
