•Custom Settings: Each registered user can configure
PageScope settings to his or her needs without affecting
the settings of others. Registered users can customize the
list of visible printers through groups. This makes man-
agement of large numbers of network printers easier.
•Easy-to-use Interface: The graphical user interface of
PageScope makes it easy for anyone to access all the
features immediately. When viewing or setting the con-
figurations of printers, a graphic representation of the
printer appears in the window along with universal
icons for printer systems. PageScope also includes com-
plete help instructions, including a tutorial, online.
•Support for QMS, Minolta, and MINOLTA-QMS
Printers:
PageScope recognizes the any MINOLTA-
QMS printer attached to the network. This includes the
PagePro
™
series, some DeskLaser models, and many
older QMS
®
printers that support TCP/IP network
interfaces. (PagePro series printers include “PageScope
Lite,” a version of PageScope specifically designed for
the needs of small offices.)
•Support for Non-MINOLTA Devices: PageScope auto-
matically recognizes any output devices running
TCP/IP and using an RFC1759-compliant MIB through
auto-discovery. Some printers may not support all
features of PageScope.
•Support for Non-printer Devices (Minolta copiers):
PageScope immediately recognizes Minolta Di250 and
Di350 digital monochrome copiers and Minolta digital
color copiers with the EFI
®
Fiery controller that are
attached to the network.
